QGroundControl Multi-Camera Alpha Release

Hello!

A little over a month ago, we announced that we have been developing a fork of QGroundControl to allow for streaming multiple cameras. Our software team has spent countless hours to refine this program and to provide our customers with a seamless experience. The same old QGroundControl we know and love, just with improved video functionality.

Given the open source nature of QGroundControl, we are proud to announce that our new application is 100% free and open source meaning it will receive many updates to further improve its functionality.

The pre-release software can be found on our github page, at https://github.com/DeepwaterExploration/qgroundcontrol/releases.

Although our software currently does not provide all the features we might want, (streaming directly in the QGroundControl main window, for example), our software team is looking into providing tighter integration in the coming weeks and we are excited to present a full release as soon as we can. Also, in our testing, we have found the current alpha versions of the software to perform quite well and we strongly recommend to give it a try.

Additionally, any bugs or problems with the application can be reported by opening an issue at https://github.com/DeepwaterExploration/qgroundcontrol/issues. We look forward to your feedback and are excited to improve our products.

Lead Software Engineer at Deepwater Exploration
