Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Hardware Production Engineer located in San Diego, CA. The Hardware Production Engineer will be responsible for production engineering, production planning, quality control, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize hardware manufacturing processes.

Role Description

DeepWater is looking for a full-time, Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing team in San Diego. You will be shaping our DWE OS and Discovery products, among future ones. Be one of the first 10 engineers at a fast-paced startup building next-generation underwater computer vision and robotics technology.


Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: Portfolio of clean projects or a public-facing demo (do not submit links to just code)
  • Strong Front-End and Back-End Web Dev skills
  • Clean and modern UI design skills
  • Interest in working with hardware-driven products
  • Primarily working in a native Linux-based environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
  • Code cleanliness, commenting, documentation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Willing to be onsite in San Diego, CA 92121 (no hybrid/remote)

As a fast-growing startup, we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to support our leadership team in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and adaptability while working closely with company executives.

What You’ll Do

  • 📅 Calendar & Schedule Management – Keep our exec team's schedule running smoothly, ensuring alignment with key priorities.
  • 🤝 Meeting Coordination – Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings, including agenda prep and follow-ups.
  • ✈️ Travel Planning – Handle domestic and international travel arrangements, including itineraries, logistics, and accommodations.
  • 🔗 Stakeholder Communication – Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication.
  • 📊 Project & Event Support – Assist with executive presentations, leadership meetings, and company-wide events.
  • ⚡ Process Improvement & Automation – Identify ways to streamline workflows and leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, ClaudeAI, Perplexity, etc.)
  • 🎯 Team Operations & Culture – Support onboarding, team-building events, and cross-functional coordination.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (or relevant education/training).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, etc.).
  • Willing to work on-site in San Diego, Monday-Friday, with occasional additional hours as needed
  • Comfortable learning and using emerging technology tools and property management systems.
  • Proficiency with macOS/Windows, keyboard shortcuts, and AI/LLM tools.
